This Coffee’s Journey

Colombia Cumbres de Huila

ORIGIN: Saladoblanco, Acevedo, San Agustin & Pitalito, Huila, Colombia

PRODUCER:    Smallholder farmers, exported by Mastercol

ALTITUDE:    1800 MASL

PROCESS:    Washed

VARIETAL:    Pacamara

This single-variety lot is sourced from smallholder farmers in Huila, located in the Saladoblanco, Acevedo, San Agustin, and Pitalito municipalities, at altitudes ranging from 1550 to 2000 meters above sea level.

Pacamara is an exceptional hybrid, the result of an artificial cross between the Pacas variety — a natural mutation of Bourbon — and the Red Maragogipe, known for its extra-large beans and unique characteristics.

Originally developed in Central America, this varietal has found an ideal terroir in the Huila region of Colombia, where the altitude and climate allow it to fully express its potential.
