From San Sebastián, Lempira, Domingo is a young coffee producer that after finishing elementary school, started to work with his father in the cultivation of basic grains until he was a teenager. Once he turned 18, Domingo moved out to the city to work in a factory and started saving his salary with the main goal of buying land in his town. After nearly 10 years, he started to build his house in his home town, bought some land and started to plant coffee with the help of his brother. Later, Domingo returned to San Sebastián and took care of his farm, providing jobs in his community. The good fame his town San Sebastián gained throughout the years with coffee cultivation encouraged him and other members of his family to buy more lands and to dedicate full time to coffee. Domingo started to work with Bon Café since his first crop, 13 years ago, and states that thanks to this relationship he has learned much about farming practices, the protection of the environment, and coffee processes, which allows him to produce better, more profitable harvests, provide for his family and to continue expanding.
